Its existing public App Store release supports compatible HDMI/UVC sources and local photo/video playback. - Wireless Companion sharing requires a matching upcoming InfinitumView update. Do not describe the existing public Vision Pro release as already supporting Companion connections. - InfinitumView Companion for Mac shares a user-selected window or display and supported app audio over the local network. It has been submitted to App Review but is not publicly downloadable yet. - InfinitumView Companion for iPhone and iPad uses Apple's system broadcast controls to share the screen and supported app audio. It is being prepared for App Store submission and is not publicly downloadable yet. - Windows and Android companions are in development. Linux and Steam Deck support is planned or under evaluation. Apple TV/tvOS is a planned receiver and session-control feasibility study. Apple Watch/watchOS is a planned lightweight status, stop, and quick-action remote—not a screen-sharing source. No public downloads are available for these platforms. - Direct PlayStation/PSN, Xbox, Nintendo, NVIDIA, Steam, Remote Play, or cloud-gaming integrations are planned or pending approval. They are not available in the public app. PS5/PS4, PS3/PS2/PS1, Xbox Series/One/360/original Xbox, Switch 2/Switch, Wii U/Wii, GameCube, Nintendo 64, and other retro consoles are documented as capture-source topics—not native integrations or universal compatibility claims. - ChromeOS, Android TV/Google TV, Amazon Fire TV, Meta Quest, and Raspberry Pi are research candidates only, not announced products. ## Long-term product direction - InfinitumView begins with Apple Vision Pro but is planned as a broader cross-device platform for sharing a screen a user controls to another supported device. - Where an operating system permits it, an InfinitumView app may share, view, or control a session instead of remaining permanently a sender or receiver. - Planned routes include Mac to iPhone/iPad, Windows to Mac, mobile to desktop or TV, computers to spatial displays, and other combinations listed on the plans page. - Local direct sharing remains account-optional. Planned remote access requires an account, trusted-device controls, and a direct or encrypted relay connection. - Multi-screen sessions, saved layouts, quality controls, diagnostics, guest access, input forwarding where permitted, teams, and enterprise management are planned capabilities. - The Vision Pro interaction roadmap includes privacy-preserving look-and-pinch selection, pinch-drag, scrolling, presentation controls, physical keyboard/mouse/trackpad forwarding, game-controller routing, and optional custom hand gestures where platform capabilities and source permissions allow them. - InfinitumView does not plan to collect or transmit a continuous raw eye-tracking history. Standard visionOS gaze-and-pinch interactions are handled through system focus and activation behavior; detailed hand tracking is permission-gated and may require an immersive space. - Every custom gesture must have a visible and accessible alternative. Planned accessibility coverage includes VoiceOver, Voice Control, dwell interaction, switches, and keyboard commands where applicable. - Planned control levels are View only; Pointer and presentation; Keyboard, pointer, and clipboard; Game controller; and Full supported control. The source device retains a visible active-control indicator and a local stop action. ## Core Companion behavior - In the first Companion release, InfinitumView runs on Apple Vision Pro and InfinitumView Companion runs on the source device. - The committed long-term product direction includes device-to-device streaming beyond Vision Pro: compatible computers, phones, tablets, TVs, and spatial devices may gain sender or receiver roles after platform-specific implementation and validation. - Broader receiver applications are in development or planned. Apple TV is the first named living-room feasibility target. No non-Vision-Pro receiver app, public release date, universal compatibility, remote-control feature, Internet relay, or cloud-streaming service is currently promised. - The devices connect over the same local network using a temporary pairing code. - The user approves the Mac system picker or iPhone/iPad broadcast control before sharing begins. - Screen content and supported app audio travel directly between paired devices over an encrypted local-network connection. - Companion does not save a screen recording, upload screen content to an Infinitum server, or capture microphone audio. - No Infinitum account is required for Companion sharing. - Companion does not forward controller, keyboard, or mouse input. The source device remains in control. - The preceding limitation describes the first Companion release. Input forwarding and Vision Pro spatial controls are roadmap items, not current public features. - Protected content may refuse capture. Performance depends on the devices, source app, permissions, and local network. ## Advertising and purchases - The iPhone/iPad companion supports Google AdMob and may display ads outside connecting or active screen-sharing sessions. - Ads are hidden while connecting and sharing. Mac and Vision Pro do not request ads. - Mobile ad services may process coarse location derived from IP address, device identifiers, ad interactions, product interactions, crash data, performance data, and other diagnostics. - Screen content and connection codes are not sent to the advertising service. - Subscription sales are disabled for the first Companion release. - Proposed plans are Free; Local Pro as a one-time local-only upgrade; Plus, Pro, and Family personal subscriptions; Teams and Business organization subscriptions; custom Enterprise agreements; and possible verified education/nonprofit discounts. - Planning-price targets shown on the plans page are not products currently for sale and may change before store configuration and launch. - Subscription value is planned around ongoing remote relay, entitlement sync, security, service operations, and support rather than ad removal alone. - Possible add-ons include additional relay capacity, extended organization audit retention, and non-renewing event or classroom passes. No lifetime remote-service plan is proposed. - Cross-platform entitlement recognition is planned through optional Infinitum accounts, subject to each store's purchase and multiplatform rules. ## Ownership and licensing - InfinitumView, InfinitumView Companion, and related original source code, compiled software, branding, artwork, documentation, interface assets, and website content are owned by or licensed to Infinitum Imagery LLC, DBA Infinitum LIVE Creator Network. - The applications are licensed, not sold.
