InfinitumView

Privacy, explained

Your screen.
Your choice.

App-specific information for InfinitumView Companion and its connection to InfinitumView. Updated September 11, 2026.

Screen sharing stays between your devices.

Sharing begins after you connect and approve the operating system's picker or broadcast control. Your selected screen and supported app audio travel directly to InfinitumView over an encrypted local-network connection. Companion does not upload that content to an Infinitum server, save a screen recording, or capture microphone audio.

Permissions and connection data

Local-network access lets the apps find and connect to each other. System screen-sharing permission lets you choose what to send. Temporary connection codes establish the connection; they are not accounts or permanent passwords. On iPhone/iPad, a private handoff passes the short-lived code to the app's broadcast extension and removes it after use. No Infinitum account is required for companion sharing.

Development diagnostics

When enabled for development, bounded local reports record events, counts, timings, dimensions and error classifications. They do not include captured video/audio, connection codes, network addresses, or window titles. Reports are stored locally; there is no automatic diagnostic upload to Infinitum. You may choose to share a report with support.

Mobile advertising

The mobile companion supports Google AdMob. The iPhone/iPad companion may display ads outside an active screen-sharing session; ads are hidden during connecting and sharing. Android support is planned. The ad service may process IP addresses, device identifiers, ad interactions and diagnostic or performance information. Screen content and connection codes are not sent to the ad service.

Applicable consent and ad-privacy controls are provided through the advertising SDK. See Google's Privacy Policy and the in-app Ad privacy choices control when available. The Mac companion and Vision Pro app do not request ads.

Purchases

Subscription sales are disabled for the first companion release. If introduced later, purchases and restoration will use the platform's store. Any active subscription recognized in that companion removes its ads; this does not establish an entitlement across different stores.

This website

This site serves public product and support information through Firebase Hosting. It has no sign-in, advertising SDK, analytics script, payment form, or screen-code entry. Hosting providers process ordinary connection information needed to serve the pages, such as the requesting IP address. Following an external link takes you to that provider's website and privacy practices.

Controls and contact
